A Note From Jill
Welcome!
Life is not easy, is it? In fact, at times it’s ridiculously difficult. No one can get through it alone, but sometimes it can be hard to find the right people to navigate life with.
Perhaps I’m one of your people!
How Can I Help
I have 15 years of experience in various roles supporting people from all walks of life—most recently working with those experiencing life-altering illness and persistent pain. I have also supported individuals facing life transitions, depression, anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, the effects of colonial violence, and relationship challenges.
I believe it is critical to offer practical, compassionate, trauma-informed, and hopeful counsel. My approach blends compassionate listening with practical tools you can use outside of our sessions to help you move toward your goals.
In my work, I draw from somatic bodywork, attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, psychoeducation, and guided visualizations. If none of those words resonate with you, no problem—we’ll figure out together what fits best. I also welcome spirituality as part of the healing process when it feels meaningful to you.
If life has thrown you an unexpected curveball, or you’re struggling to manage everyday ups and downs, I believe therapy can help shift things from merely surviving to truly thriving. I offer a complimentary 20-minute consultation so we can get to know each other and see if it feels like a good fit.
Who I Am
A true prairie girl at heart, I play ice hockey and the fiddle in my free time, but I can also often be found dipping or lazing on the beach. I’m also a mom, partner, sister, and daughter, and I stay connected through community projects that aim to make this world a little more gentle and beautiful for everyone.
